176BIZ was a talented visual kei band with an all too short lifespan of four years. Their story began in July 2005 with the duo Betty, made up of Yuu and Tara. This group had lasted no more than a couple of months before three other musicians joined in and the new unit traded its old name for a brand new one: 176BIZ. Their sound was a combination of pop, rock and jazz, at times aggressive and always characterized by charming melodies.
